People call us to clean up a hoarding situation all the time. I am always surprised at how much many people have stored and have a hard time letting go of. As humans we all want to save things from our past that we want to remember from our childhoods and families.
At what point do we cross that invisible line from remembering to hoarding? Are there danger signals that could alert ourselves and family members that this could be something we should be aware of?

That made me wonder if we all have a certain amount of hoarding tendencies in our own lives?

As we have cleaned up after certain hoarding situation and have come to realize the impact it has on the people that are living with this disorder but also their family and friends.

- Persistent difficulty throwing out or parting with your things, regardless of actual value.

- Having a tendency toward indecisiveness, perfectionism, avoidance, procrastination, and problems with planning and organizing.
