Joseph “Joe” Trasser is the founder of Joe’s AZ BIO Cleanup & Restoration, a licensed biohazard cleanup company serving Phoenix, Tucson, and communities throughout Arizona. Joe has worked in the biohazard cleanup industry for roughly 18–19 years, co-owning the company with a business partner for its first 14 years before running it independently for the past 4. Before that, he spent 17 years in the insurance industry, a background that shapes how the company works with property owners, families, and insurance adjusters today.

Joe founded Joe’s AZ BIO Cleanup & Restoration after experiencing a traumatic loss involving someone close to him. He found a gap between the moment police leave a scene and the lack of clear guidance on who to call for help next. He built his company to close that gap — providing professional-grade remediation alongside honest education and support for families during recovery.

As Owner and CEO, Joe oversees biohazard cleanup projects across residential, commercial, and multifamily properties in Arizona. His work includes identifying contamination risks, determining proper cleanup procedures, coordinating removal of affected materials, minimizing cross-contamination, and preparing properties for restoration or re-occupancy. This covers situations involving blood, bodily fluids, biological contaminants, hazardous materials, persistent odors, and severely unsanitary conditions — work that falls outside the scope of ordinary cleaning services.
